We made our annual trip to a pumpkin patch. Caleb was so intrigued with all the bright orange everywhere. He never once looked at the camera!
SOCCER!
The kids are doing soccer in their Co-Op PE classes on Fridays. Neither of them have ever played soccer before and they are really doing well. Blane is really enjoying it and has pretty good ball control. Ally Beth is a soccer natural and very aggressive (surprised, anyone???) COUSIN FUN!
Jenny and the kids came to Killeen this week. We had a wonderful (albeit rainy) day at the park. We LOVE the park here in Salado. It has a huge covered pavilion to sit under, about the size of a basketball court. The kids can roller blade, eat lunch in a covered spot, go play at the park right next to the pavilion, and THEN, when we get all hot and sweaty, we head down to the creek. The kids LOVE playing in the creek. John Thomas (our youngest nephew) went in in his diaper, and when it got full of water, he took it off and just played in the creek butt-naked! It was SO cute!!!
I wish I had some pics of the kids at the park and in the creek, but I didn't get to take any pics because of the rainy weather. I didn't want to ruin my camera, but I did get some pics of the kids and their three oldest cousins watching "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" Veggie Tales movie.

MEXICAN FIESTA
Our new home schooling friends here in Salado, Nicholas and Emily, just finished their unit study of Mexico and invited us over to celebrate with them Fiesta style! The kids made paper flowers. Nicholas liked to wear his in his ears!
