We are just days shy of being halfway done with our medical school journey! We can't believe how time has flown. The landscape is about to change again. Tony has been home studying quite a bit the last 2 years. He has been blessed to be able to work from home, as well. Now, he will be moving his workspace to the hospital. He will spend the next couple of years at his 2nd home...Scott & White Hospital. He is beginning his 2 clinical years and "closing the books" on his 2 didactic years.
As he will be unable to continue extra work due to his intense clinical schedule the next 2 years, we have decided to downsize to decrease the burden he carries as provider.
So, this chapter of didactic classes and residence at 1203 Baines is ending. Our new chapter will begin on May 1st. We have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to move right down the road to a beautiful home on a half acre that is full of live oaks. We have very few trees where we are at now, so this is a plus! Also, we are gaining a sun porch and a fun backyard. We are so thankful! Pictures will come in the next month or so as the dust settles.
Blane is closing a chapter as well. After 10 years of having his own room, he will gain a roommate in the move...Caleb. This should be interesting for them both! They are great buds now. I hope that will not change in their new living circumstances. In fact, I pray that that will never change!
Ally Beth is closing the chapter on her eighth year. June greets her with a birthday and she will be turning 9.
So, lots of changes in the upcoming days. Many challenges lie ahead. We cling fast to the never changing God.
