We've been having a lot of fun here lately! We've hit the National Aquarium. We've gone to Medieval Times for a dinner theater. We've had hours of fun park time (at a gorgeous park in Pennsylvania) while the big kids have played Ultimate Frisbee with the other kids from church. We hosted our friends, Katherine and Elizabeth Davidson, on their sister trip up the East Coast. While they were here, we hit Amish country...took a buggy ride, toured an Amish farm, ate at an Amish restaurant. Then, our family trekked into DC to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Just today, I sat at a large table underneath a tree for a few hours with ladies from church, sipping hot tea and having sweet conversation as we watched the littles chase chickens and play games, the biggers play Ultimate Frisbee, and the menfolk played Bocce ball.
Ahhhh....it's been good!

Fall is in the air!
Amish buggies gathered for church at a local farm. The Amish don't have a church building. They go from home to home having church every other week. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing these buggies and the Plain folk who drive them.
