He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 inches in length.
Out of all of our deliveries, his was the easiest...this was a major answer to prayer!
One of my other major prayer requests was for him to have no respiratory problems. But, God had another plan. Like his big brother, this little man spent several days in the NICU. He had respiratory issues...and pneumonia. Apparently, he contracted a bug from his older brothers (who had been sick the days prior to his birth). This bug bacterialized into his little wet lungs and developed into pneumonia. After 5 days of antibiotics and monitoring, he was able to leave the NICU and come home with us! We are so blessed to have him here with us!!!
Friday, he had his first doctor's appointment after leaving the hospital. Our family doctor said he would have never known that Joshua had been sick. All other systems seem a go. Praise God!
