Eight is GREAT!

Ally Beth is 8 YEARS OLD! I can hardly believe it! We had a grand time celebrating with Grammy last week! We had an ice cream theme celebration. She got the James Avery Ice Cream Cone charm to add to her charm bracelet. We went to see UP! and afterwards went for ice cream, just like in the movie!

Then, on Sunday, we went out to Drew & Jessica Alexander's new place outside of Gatesville (LOVE IT!) and the kids kayaked (thank you, Drew!), hiked around, shot guns and went on a "safari" in the back of Drew's truck. They now live on a ranch that has zebras, elk, axis, black deer and lots of other fun animals you don't see everyday. Don't worry, they didn't shoot any of the animals. We just looked at them. She had an AWESOME birthday and is still hung over with a big case of chigger bites all over! That was one of the Alexander's presents to her for her birthday...hee, hee!
