This weekend, my parents and sister-in-law, April, came to Salado to celebrate my mom's birthday. The guys hung out at the house and did some work while the girls hit some shopping in Salado's fun little shops. Afterwards, we headed down to Salado Creek to swim and hang out. Salado has a very beautiful creek which is fed by an Artesian well. At the pool where the well bubbles up, the water's average temperature is 57 degrees!!! The water is crystal clear and beautiful! It is warmer down in the creek bed, but it's fun to jump into that cold water!

The "pool" area has a large green where we set up chairs and just relaxed in the cool shade.
